Risk Management and Audit Committee SIG in San Mateo
San Mateo, CA
The Risk Management and Audit Committee Special Interest Group (SIG) provides an informal forum for NACD members who serve as corporate directors to exchange thoughts on audit trends, challenges, and best practices.
Over a lunch discussion with thought leaders from NACD sponsor and peer exchange host Protiviti, attendees discussed the audit matters on their minds.
In a prior meeting, members expressed interest in hearing more about digital transformation. Protiviti provided a thought leadership piece on the subject with some very insightful questions for board members to consider.
In addition, they provided the following pieces of thought leadership to members before the meeting.
In this installment of Protiviti’s The Bulletin, they explore the ERM topic once again — this time examining how a “risk-informed” perective can advance the maturity of ERM in an organization.
In this Point of View, Protiviti explores the digital revolution currently taking place that is transforming the world we live in and the risks associated with disruptive innovation as part of the board’s agenda.
Please see additional meeting details below along with attached recap.
We had a very energetic and informative Risk Management and Audit Committee SIG meeting. The feedback from the attendees was very positive, and they appreciated Protiviti's sponsorship for the event. The thought leadership pieces that were provided in advance were also well received.
